The quarterly meeting of the Cooperation Council was convened

On January 25, 2024, the Cooperation Council held its first-quarter meeting. The key agenda items discussed during this meeting included:

• The preparation and submission of Mongolia's 2024 Follow-up Report to the Asia/Pacific Group on Money Laundering (APG):
• A review of the status of the National Strategy for anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism, as well as a discussion regarding the tasks that remain incomplete under the action plan.

Moreover, the Council reviewed the draft Follow-up Report and decided to submit it following incorporating feedback from the Council members, as well as finalized and approved the 2024 action plan for the Cooperation Council.
