Virtual training for VASP was organized

FIU-Mongolia organized the second round of outreach activities for virtual asset service providers (VASPs) virtually on April 4, 2024, since VASPs became reporting entities according to the AML/CFT Law of Mongolia.

The FIU-Mongolia provided information on the following topics for 24 employees of 12 reporting entities in virtual assets industry participated in the training:

• Identifying and reporting suspicious transactions;
• Recommendations and issues related to user role management and reporting through GoAML platform.

In accordance with the specifics of the industry, FIU-Mongolia developed several guidances and manuals for VASPs and the FIU-Mongolia also planning to conduct regularly outreach activities to other reporting entities to share recent AML/CFT related news and trends regularly.
