Cooperation Council held its regular quarterly meeting

The Cooperation Council convened its regular second-quarter meeting on April 30, 2024, during which the following agenda items were discussed:

• A report on the progress made in implementing the first-quarter action plan of the National Strategy for Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing for 2024.
• A presentation of the 2024 action plan for the Cooperation Council.
• Proposed amendments to the action plan for implementing the National Strategy. 

During the meeting, the member organizations of the Council decided to explore opportunities to enhance information sharing and coordination among the members within the framework of their collaboration. Additionally, the Council approved the proposed amendments to the action plan for implementing the National Strategy.
