We invite you to participate in the Anti-Money Laundering Hackathon organized by the Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM).

You can register and participate in the Anti-Money Laundering Hackathon for free by May 28, 2023.

Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) in partnership with the Financial Intelligence Consultative Group (FICG), is organizing the "Hackathon 2023" event on June 1-28, 2023 in the field of combating money laundering.

The Hackathon organisers invite participants from diverse backgrounds within the Asia and Pacific region to enter. The Hackathon’s goal is to develop prototypes that address real-world financial crime issues, through innovation and collaboration. Registrations for the virtual event are open across three categories:

• Public Sector: Financial Intelligence Units, Law Enforcement Agencies and Supervisors.
• Private Sector: Reporting Institutions, Information Technology Service Providers and Fintech Communities.
• Open: Private Individuals - Freelance Programmers, Developers, Data Analysts, Students.

You can register and participate in the competition for free until May 28, 2023. The teams selected in the II stage of the competition will participate in e-seminars and receive advice and mentoring from experts. The prize of the competition is 5 thousand US dollars, and they can present their projects at international conferences and forums.
