The training on "Digital Evidence and Investigation and Resolution of Wildlife Trafficking and Money Laundering Crimes" was held on May 15-18, 2023.

On May 15-18, 2023, within the framework of cooperation between the Office of the General Prosecutor Office of Mongolia and the Office of Prosecutor Development, Assistance, and Training of the United States Department of Justice, on topic of "Investigation and Resolution of Digital Evidence and Wildlife Trafficking and Money Laundering Crimes" theme training was held.

The training was conducted by Sylvia Shweder, US Department of Justice's Wildlife and Animal Trafficking Advisor, Regional Representative for Asia, Scott Bradford, International Hacking and Intellectual Property Advisor for Cybercrime in Southeast Asia, Digital Investigation led by investigative expert Mackenzie Maschke, U.S. District Judge Pamela Chen, and University of Hong Kong professor Amanda Whitforth.

The training included "Detecting, seizing and analyzing digital evidence", "Forensic analysis of mobile devices", "Digital evidence and its presentation in court", "Cryptocurrency", "The problems to be considered by the court in solving money laundering". Mentors shared their knowledge and experience on important topics relevant to today's needs and requirements, such as conducting financial investigations into wildlife crimes and tracing money.

The training was attended by prosecutors from provincial,  capital and district prosecutor's offices, and employees of authorized investigative organizations. The Financial Information Unit presented AML/CFT framework of Mongolia.
